Meet our Instructors

Our team is a dedicated group of instructors with expertise in various aerial apparatuses, guiding students through the art of suspended movement, and fostering creativity. We collectively bring diverse experiences and teaching styles, creating a supportive and inspiring environment for students to explore and master the intricacies of aerial dance.

Steven Yerardi

Owner

Steven started dancing in the town of Hudson at the age of 7. His teaching and choreography carreer began at the age of 16 also in Hudson. After graduating from Hudson High School, he attended Dean College in Franklin, MA and received an associates degree in Dance Performance. His professional career began touring with Sesame Street Live traveling the country as an onstage swing, as the character Honker. He then traveled to Disney Cruise Lines and then Norwegian Cruise Lines as a dancer/singer/aerialist. There he found his love and passion for the aerial arts, thus him being promoted to aerial captain on contracts to come. He trained at the Toronto School of Circus Arts in Toronto, Ontario, specializing in hoop, silks, straps, trapeze, net, and spanish web. In 2017 Steven retired as a professional performer and began the creation of Born to Fly Productions which is now known as InFlyte Entertainment.

Meg Mayfield

Director of First Impressions

Meg Mayfield started dancing at age 3 and continued through college, graduating from the University of Southern Maine with her bachelors in Musical Theatre Performance. Meg has been working as a theatre professional since 2020, touring as stage manager for Chamber Theatre Productions and making a name for herself in custom prop design. She also teaches dance and works as a gigging musician in the Worcester area. After graduating college, Meg found incredible joy in teaching and watching her students grow and succeed. She was introduced to aerial arts by working on The Nutcracker, InFlyte 2021, and now teaches silks, hoop, hammock, and loves to fly with all the amazing Flyte Trainers at the studio.

Allie Lind

Silks

Allie is a New England based circus artist specializing in fabric and straps. She fell in love with circus in 2013 after witnessing the magic of circus from the audience of a cruise ship show. Since then, Allie has become an award winning fabric artist and has been coaching in multiple studios in Massachusetts since 2017. She has trained with numerous coaches across the US and Montreal, and completed training in the full time professional program with Eastern Acrobatics and Circus from 2021-2023 with a specialty in straps.

Aya Lanzoni

Sling

With over 15 years of dance experience, Aya took flight in her aerial journey in 2014 and hasn't stopped flying since. She began teaching aerial in 2020 and recently joined the InFlyte crew in 2023, teaching aerial sling for youth and adults. Aya enjoys bringing her aerial skills to new, unexpected heights in lyra (aerial hoop) and other aerial arts, with sling as her favorite go-to. Outside of the studio, you can probably catch her with a snack or showing off her two dogs and learning Japanese and ASL.

Beth Shurtleff

Silks, Sling

Beth Shurtleff found her passion for the aerial arts in 2018 and has loved flying ever since. She got her start here at InFlyte, and has since had experience training at different studios around Massachusetts. Her primary apparatus is aerial silks, but have had some experience in lyra, rope and aerial cube. In 2020 she had the opportunity of competing in the Aerialympics where she placed top 3 in her division. She loves the circus community and is excited to she her love with others!

Meena Khayami

Web Coordinator

Meena started her aerial journey in 2018 with pole, and then started focusing on Lyra in 2023. She has had opportunities to explore aerial cube as well as an aerial umbrella. She has performed in Theatre on Ice, traveling to Spain for Team USA, as well as performances in Worcester, MA for studioXpresents, and multiple performances in Charleston, SC.  A retired figure skater turned aerialist, she has found joy in exploring movements in the air rather than just on the ground. She has found a love in  teaching students and watching them gain strength both mentally and physically. Starting as a photographer for InFlyte, but soon reached out to Steven once she moved back to MA in 2024 and became an instructor. Outside of the studio, she's a Mechanical Engineer, photographer, loves to ski and take her family with 1 human and two dogs on camping and hiking trips.

Karen Bock

Party Manager

Karen first began training aerial silks back in 2013, and after a not so brief hiatus(and having two babies) came back in 2018. Karen has been working with kids for 20 years now and loves being able to share circus with the next generation including her oldest daughter. She loves all apparatuses but has a soft spot for silks and hammock. In her free time you can find her spending time with her three kids and dog, or reading fantasy books.

Stef Hagopian

Silks

Stef first discovered her love for heights at the age of 10 when she joined Boston Rock Gym’s climbing team. She has a background in dance in high school and cheerleading on ice for college ice hockey. She began training in aerial silks in 2016 and has not stopped flying since. Outside of aerials, Stef enjoys Pilates, is a dog mom, and a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner. She adores the aerial community and is very excited to be part of the Inflyte Entertainment Team!

Cam MacDonald

Studio Admin

Cameron is currently a senior at Assabet Valley Regional High School with a focus in paint and design. She grew up surrounded by the performing arts and spent many years dancing and performing theater. She loves working behind the scenes on everything from set painting to make-up. 

She is so excited to be a part of the InFlyte family.
