Performance Team

General Information
- Performance Team will attend events the studio is invited to. (Holiday Stroll, Arts Fest, etc.) - Performance Team is an invited auditioned group. - Students must be at least 8 years old to be on the team - Performance Team is ment to be a stepping stone to the Competition Team - Performance Team is a less intense commitment/training process. - Students can perform on any apparatus - Students can participate in both teams (Competition Team members that are also on performance team will perform different routines)
Audition Day - July 25
- Performers must be invited to audition for the team. - The audition day is planned to be like an improv work shop where students will put together and perform sequences in a short amount of time. - At auditions, performers have the opportunity to request a coach/choreographer to work with for the season. Studio director will have the final say.
Routines
- The performers coach/choreographer is there to make technique corrections and make suggestions to assist routine flow. - Routines are meant to show off the student's abilities, but also have the goal of being repeatable and clean. - Each student will perform ONE routine for the entirety of the performance season. - Performance routine is different from the student's showcase routine.
Commitment
- Performers must be enrolled in at least 3 classes at InFlyte, one must be in their performing apparatus, one grounds class, and the performance team class (Wednesdays or Saturdays) - Performance Team will have a class every other week, focusing on technique, conditioning, and routines. - Performance Team will have their own separate showcase.
Tuition
Performance team Tuition will cover: - Bi-Weekly performance team class. - Intensives - Uniforms
