Meet InFlyte Entertainment: Aerial Arts, Creativity, and Community

If you've walked through downtown Hudson on a festival day, there's a good chance you've seen someone from InFlyte Entertainment spinning in a hoop or wrapped in fabric above the crowd. But the performances are only the most visible part of what happens here.

InFlyte is an aerial arts and performing arts studio at 23 Park Street in Hudson, Massachusetts. We offer classes, training, performances, camps, teams, private lessons, parties and specialty programs for children, teens and adults. Here's a closer look at who we are and how to get involved.

Where InFlyte Began

Before there was InFlyte Entertainment, there was Born To Fly Productions. Founder and owner Steven Yerardi started the company after a professional career in dance, live entertainment and aerial performance. What began as an aerial arts business serving Marlborough and surrounding towns eventually came home to Hudson, where Steven's own performing arts journey started.

InFlyte moved to downtown Hudson in 2019. Classes grew, showcases became annual traditions, and original productions found their way onto the stage. In 2025, that growth led to our expanded home at 23 Park Street.

More Than an Aerial Studio

Our flyers train on silks, hoop (also called lyra), sling and additional specialty apparatuses. Along the way they build strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness.

But skills are only part of the story. InFlyte was built to be a place where people can challenge themselves, express themselves and find community. Some flyers come for fitness. Some come for creativity. Some come to perform. Some just wanted to try something completely different. All of them belong here.

Programs for Every Age

Youth classes blend dance and acrobatics as young flyers learn to move on multiple apparatuses. Levels start with Flyte Trainer for ages 6–8 and Intro for ages 8 and up, then progress through Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced.

Adult classes cover silks, hoop and sling, from Intro through Intermediate/Advanced. Our adult flyers range from total beginners to experienced aerialists, and many started with no athletic background at all.

You'll find the full lineup on our Classes page.

Teams for Flyers Who Want More

For students ready for a bigger commitment, InFlyte offers two teams:

• The Performance Team performs at community events like Celebrate Hudson, the Holiday Stroll and ArtsFest, and serves as a stepping stone toward competition.

• The Competition Team trains choreographed routines and travels to competitions outside Massachusetts.

Both teams start the season with an intensive week in August and come together for an in-house competition and banquet.

Storytelling on Stage

One of the things that sets InFlyte apart is our love of theater. Past productions have included youth performances of Pan and Oz, an adult Alice showcase, and our annual aerial Nutcracker. Most recently, our adult flyers created Whispers of WhoVille, a Halloween-season showcase that told a mystery through aerial movement.

These productions give students a chance to turn technical training into characters, choreography and stories.

Showcases and Community Events

Each Flymester ends with a showcase where students share what they've been working on. Throughout the year our flyers also appear around town at events like Celebrate Hudson, Downtown Trick-or-Treat, the Holiday Stroll and ArtsFest. You can see what's coming up on our Performances page.

Ways to Experience InFlyte

There's more than one way in:

• Take a class. Start with an Intro level on the apparatus that interests you most.

• Come to a show. Showcases and productions are a great way to see what aerial can become.

• Celebrate with us. Birthday parties, bachelorettes, ladies' nights and team-building events are available on weekends. See our Parties page.

• Support the arts. Local businesses can learn about sponsorship opportunities.

Questions to Ask Before You Enroll

If you're not sure where to start, ask us:

• Which class level fits my age and experience?

• Which apparatus is the best first step?

• When does the next Flymester begin?

• How do performances and teams work if I'm interested later on?

Email inflyteentertainment@gmail.com or call (978) 618-7816 and our team will point you in the right direction.
